Disabled Toilets

A Changing Places toilet including a full suite of disabled change and toilet facilities has been installed at Sensory World to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible facilities for all our users from child to adult.

This enables visitors with profound or multiple learning difficulties as well as those with disabilities that limit mobility to visit Sensory World knowing that all their needs are catered for.

The full length, adjustable height changing bench deals with all users no matter what size they come in while the heavy duty castors allow the carer to position the bench in the most convenient way.  The overhead, electric hoist makes life as easy as possible for carers moving the user from couch to WC and back again.

The electric hoist removes all risk when lifting and positioning the user.

The hoist reaches fully across the WC and full length bench for maximum flexibility.
