Employment for Adults with Autism

Autism is difficult enough to manage when there are babies or children involved.  But when the sufferer grows up and become an adult and starts needing to deal with adult things like earning a living there is a terrible shortage of suitable employment.

As always, one way of dealing with this is to 'do it yourself' and here's one example of one autistic child whose parents had the will and the means to solve the problem - and created a useful employment for 34 other autistic adults as well as their son.

What do you think?  Leave a comment below and let us know of any examples you are aware of in the UK.
